The blink tag

The HTML container element
<blink> ... </blink>
tells the browser to render the text components of the contents as blinking or flashing.

This is not a standard HTML tag and is deprecated by most authors. If you want a blinking image, you'll need to create it as a looping animated GIF. A table enclosed within <blink> .. </blink> tags will not blink.

There is no way of controlling the blink rate. Continuously blinking text is very irritating.

Here's an example.

This is <blink> style

Browsers

Only NN honours this tag. Users of other browsers can cause severe irritation to Netscape users by enclosing the whole page in <blink> .. </blink> tags.
